Integration with couchpotato?

Hi everybody,

 

Been checking out couchpotato with my synology nas for a couple of days now.

All is fine, but it is not able to download the right metadata.

 

It currently only supports XBMC metadata. I can change the filenames and such, but I was wondering if anyone has the same combination (couchpotato/Mediabrowser3) running successfully.

What are you using as your download tool ??

 

I have SABNZBD to download and move it to the correct folder,

 

CP then renames it and MB3 downloads the metadata.

 

Same setup for SickBeard.

Yes, i'm using Couchpotato 2x.

 

Got the same setup now, but thought it would be easier if couchpotato created the metadata instead of MB3.

Nas is always on, the MB3 HTPC isn't.

Take a look at Media Center Master, you can use couch potato to download everything into a subdirectory and MCM can take it from there and do everything you need. I use it and it works great.

I think there was a request put into Ruud about adding MB3 metadata to CP, but MB3 does such a good job !!

I also wouldn't know why you don't use MBS to create metadata. It does a fantastic job!!!

Why would you want cp grabbing metadata? I use cp but never thought about setting it to grab metadata.

Like i said; nas is always on, HTPC isn't.

But maybe i haven't given MB3 a fair go yet.

even if you only download metadata when MB3 server is on, it'll be there in a few minutes of start-up.

hey guys, ok, I am going to give the MB3 (emby) meta data management a try.  I am only recently started using Emby, as I only wanted to synchronize all my databases across all of my HT machines that have Kodi installed.  I will let you know what i find.
