epayson85 72 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I have a few videos that still require to transcode on the andriod apps / fire tv. Also all of my recorded tv requires transcoding. Since yesterday I have been unable to seek what so ever with these files. With recorded tv it will allow me to seek, the video actually even goes to that point that I seek but then it wont play. What it does is the time will play for the allotted time that I fast forwarded. So lets say I fast forwarded 30 seconds. The video will go to that point but stop and then the time will tick by for 30 seconds. Once it reaches that point then it will even continue to play. Now on regular video files it just errors out and says unable to play back the file. I have attached the log showing all of this. Its not even on all files its just some that transcode that have this happen. log.txt

Luke 42077 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 i'm having a similar (same?) issue as you, see here http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/26183-recorded-tv-issue/page-4&do=findComment&comment=323888 Thanks, I was trying to find that so I could reference, since it sounds like the same thing.
epayson85 72 Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 Thanks guys, I saw Lukes response in that serverwmc post so I will wait for the next server build and see if it's fixed.
epayson85 72 Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 Just for the heck of it though Luke here are a couple transcoding logs. One for a tv recording and one for an avi file that just crashes when you try to fast forward. recording log.txt avi file log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Based on the example video in the other thread it's resolved for the next server release.
