Luke 42077 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Why not just follow the instructions on the website? http://emby.media/emby-for-kodi.html
bluemonkey07 590 Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) How bout adding the alternative remote friendly install method that can be done all within kodi ui to the webpage also https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/wiki/Emby-Repository Edited April 23, 2016 by Vidman 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 The one vidman posted is the easiest way by far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Luke 42077 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 What does this mean? If you can't find the menu item, you can always switch to the confluence skin temporarily. Does the default skin have this?
bluemonkey07 590 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 All the screenshots in the link are of the default skin
bluemonkey07 590 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 All the screenshots in the link are of the default skinActually I should mention this may change soon as the next version of kodi (v17) will be released with a new default skin
skank 85 Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 How bout adding the alternative remote friendly install method that can be done all within kodi ui to the webpage also https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/wiki/Emby-Repository i need to add http://kodi.emby.media/ first right why isnt the addon on the offical addon list then? for me its easier to install from zip than to type in an adress
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Because we write to the Kodi database, which is against their official add-on guidelines. You only need to type the address once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

skank 85 Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 One thing i need krypton database support, i read its already there in some build, but the last beta says its not which one do i need for it?
foghat 65 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 As asked by skank above, Is there a version of emby for kodi that works with krypton? I really hope so, not sure what happened but I had a jarvis alpha build that supported hd bitsreaming - somehow that got removed (i have a shield) - maybe it was due to the shield update I just performed? I don't know. Long story short, the jarvis alpha will not install anymore. krpton does support bitstreaming hd, but will not sync with emby. I am using emby for kodi 2.2.10
bluemonkey07 590 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Spmc will work... In fact it has extra features on shield such as voice search and home screen recommendations Edited May 1, 2016 by Vidman 1
foghat 65 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Spmc will work... In fact it has extra features on shield such as voice search and home screen recommendations Thank-you. I had no idea spmc even existed. I will give it a try tomorrow. I assume it actually a different app than kodi and I can have both installed at the same time?
bluemonkey07 590 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Yes you can. And currently it's based on jarvis.. It is in fact the continuation of kodi on android by the only kodi for android dev after he split from the team Edited May 1, 2016 by Vidman
foghat 65 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 spmc seems to be working like a charm. Thanks again for the suggestion.
