Scan media library stuck at 53%

[scope99 7]

When a scan media task is run the server is hanging on 53%.

 

While stuck Emby uses 16% system resources. Attempting to stop the task fails.

 

I have attached a log which shows the scan starting at 7.30.56 and an attempt to stop the scan at 7.31.10.

 

If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, since you have a lot of plugins installed, I would suggest removing them and seeing if the issue reproduces with just the core server.

I have removed all of the plugins and the task is still hanging. Here is the new log:

The log only represents two minutes of time since you started the scan. I would try to be a little more patient. Sometimes the scan can take a little time.

Actually it has now progressed to 64.7%. I might leave it running till tomorrow morning and see what happens. Thanks

Ok it ran ok. It took 3 and a half hours but now runs in 11 seconds. All fixed.
