legrosmoi 4 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) Hello dev, Using: Version 3.0.5930.0 Plugin: Genre Cleaner, Server Backup, Studio Cleaner, Folder Sync Everytime I do a 'Media Scan Library' I have errors for basically all the medias I have. Every scan takes between 2 hours and 3 hours. I have done 'Clean Database' between each scan... quite a fe times already All my medias have already proper metadata and images... In the log, the is a "Error parsing xml file" for each medias. I never had any XML file and I don't see a way of preventing Emby from reading them. I see only a setting to select an order of preferences between NFO and XML readers. Each of those error seems to take almost half a seconds... and I have a lot of medias... There are also a lot of 'System.AggregateException' which I don't know the meaning for... Any idea why I get these errors? Thanks, Jocelyn server-63596608015 - Copy.zip Edited April 19, 2016 by legrosmoi
Luke 42085 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 The movie db errors are nothing to worry about, it just looks like you have content that is not on the movie db. you could try disabling it in metadata services and the errors will go away.
legrosmoi 4 Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) Thanks Luke! Yes I have content that is not in any database. If I lock the metadata for these movies or tv shows. Will it stop the errors? Also, what about the '"Error parsing xml file" error Edited April 19, 2016 by legrosmoi
legrosmoi 4 Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 Sorry for the bother again, Anybody have an idea how to debug the "Error parsing xml file" for all the medias every time I do a scan media library... I am still having to wait nearly 3 hours for a scan which makes adding new medias a bit tedious... Still like Emby alot despite this !!!
Luke 42085 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I think it's just incorrect logging. I will adjust. Thanks.
