suppress 'suggestions' or 'latest' ?

I have recently come back to emby to give it another shot at being the back-end for my tv and movie organizer. It took some experimenting, but I figured out how to get the user settings right for the 'home' page, but when I go into 'Movies' there does not seem to be any way to get rid of the 'suggestions' or 'latest' sections. I saw that I could turn off 'enhanced' views and just use the folder structure, but that eliminates the added value of emby's metadata scraping over simply using a minimalist backend like minidlna... 

 

Is there any way to tweak what gets included in the 'enhanced view'?
