User Settings issues

Since user settings were moved out of the admin user settings, two of my users are having issues on the user settings screens.

 

On one when save is clicked on home screen settings the user is logged out and the changes are not saved.

 

On the other when profile is selected it displays the user image but nothing else.

 

I was just wondering if these were teething issues other people were experiencing that the team was already working on?

yea it's probably because you disabled their access to user preferences so the server is not allowing the save operation. what's happening is I'm about ready to just pull that option. Not a whole lot of people are using it, which means we're not spending a whole lot of time testing it, and it's getting accidentally broken as you're seeing now. 

 

the ability to edit any arbitrary user's preferences from the admin screen will be added back though.
