Ponyo 22 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I'm trying to play something from my GF's place but after 3 minutes Emby had other ideas and semi crashed.I can remote into the server from time to time from my phone but I can't playback anything even though the server menu says users are logging in and have started playing back files.1. I payed for the app, stop spamming Emby theather. If I close that window once it should stay closed.2. Server needs to auto update again. Getting tired of having to do so manually.3. Server reboot button needs to return to the admin screen. Would be even better to have a system reboot button too. Right now you are fucked if Emby isn't working as it should and you have no other remote access.4. Proper logging and debugging on the admin panel so I know what is going on.5. Android app has a ton of screens that don't respond to the back button.

Under settings I got it set to auto update but on the dashboard its still telling me a new version is out and I should shutdown the server and update manually. It does do this. Can you please politely provide more detail? It used to, yet. But a couple of updates ago it changed and now all I'm seeing on the dashboard is the shutdown button. For example the emby connect login screen and the notifications (the blue'ish buttons) on the dashboard opening a link to an external url. In such cases I need to force stop the app. Also the web interface often feels slow, both via browser and the app there is a lot of loading going on. Its not an issue with the server's internet connection, that does well over 500mbit up and streaming isn't a issue. Remote devices are also on a 1gbit connection or 75mbit 4G connections. I could understand if a lot of new media was present but even with no new files added to the library loading is sluggish.

If all you are seeing is a shutdown button, this means you are running the server as a service and not as an application. 1
