ThaDraGun 1 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Emby Server 3.0.5913.0 Windows 10 Pro on both PCs Kodi v16.0 on both PCs On PC 1 I start kodi and it logs into the profile HTPC. Everything plays and updates just fine. When I watch a show it is marked as watched. I log in to the profile HTPC on the emby app on my phone to check and see the episode was marked as watched. It updated on the server, Everything with PC 1 seems to be working correctly. I start up PC 2 and Kodi. It logs into profile HTPC. I can play episodes However, I notice that some episodes are missing and that show I just watched on PC 1 is not marked as watched on this device. The whole reason for me to set emby up was so that it was always synced between devices. Any idea what is going on? kodi.log
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 (edited) If you run a manual sync on the PC 2, does it update correctly? - According to your logs, it was still updating when you shut down Kodi. You have a lot of updates going on, do you have save image path to nfo enabled under the emby dashboard > metadata > nfo? Edited April 17, 2016 by Angelblue05 1
ThaDraGun 1 Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Oh I didnt know it was still updating. It doesnt show that its doing anything so I didnt realize. Normally When kodi is doing everything it has a progress bar at the top to show that its scanning the library for new shows. PC 2 is a lot slower then PC 1 so maybe I just need to leave it on for a while for it to change. How do I do a manual sync? and in the server settings "save artwork and metadata into media folders" is enabled.
bluemonkey07 590 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 That's not the setting Angelblue05 was asking about. If the save image path to nfo is checked it can cause the kodi addon to have lots of updates 1
