2 Questions About Collections

1) Is it possible to have a movie in 2 different collections? Example: I want Die Hard to be in both my Die Hard Collection & my Holiday Collection.

2) Is it possible to have subfolders within a collection? Sort of a collection within a collection. Example: I want my Holiday Collection to be divided into a Thanksgiving Collection & Christmas Collection.

Thanks

1) I would try starting by manually adding Die Hard to the Holiday Collection. I have a collection for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man, Cap America, etc) and put those movies in my MCU collections. I then noticed the boxset plugin also put them in their own collections (Iron Man collection, etc) after adding to my created collection. I haven't tried to add a movie to 2 collections manually, but it seems to work if you add it to your created collection first then run a library scan and let Emby do its thing.

2) I haven't delved in to nesting yet but Happy2Play mentioned something here http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/33560-manually-creating-a-boxset-or-how-to-deal-with-the-animatrix/

You can make nested folder work, but it requires removing [boxset] in name and all metadata from boxset folder and allowing the plugin to generate your collections.

Hope that helps

We are not actively working on it if that's what you're wondering.

As this isn't being actively worked on you could consider using tags or genres here as well as alternate approaches to grouping these movies.
