Popup About Program Making Changes to Computer

Since the last latest versions of Emby Theater and Emby Server came out, any time I open on of them, I get one of those popups that says: "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?"

 

The program name is NDP46-KB3045560-Web.exe

 

I can't figure out how to make this stop and it messes up my automatic starting of Emby Theater with my Harmony remote.

 

Can someone please help how I can prevent these pop-ups?

That is a MS update - probably .net 4.6.

If you don't accept it and install .net 4.6 then future versions of Emby Theater and Emby Server will fail to load. If you prefer to do it from the Microsoft website you can do that here:

I do allow it, every time.

 

I tried to do install from the Microsoft site, the install fails because the application cannot find one of its required files. Maybe this is why it is popping up every time because the install fails. I'll have to figure it out I guess.

ok, thanks. and yea, looks like it's not completing for whatever reason. you  might want to run windows update first.

 

yup, looks like SP1 is required.

For (hopefully) clarity and confirmation ... I had the same issue, and it seems to be resolved after installing .Net Framework 4.6.1 ...
