Recorded TV aspect ratio

I'm using WMC and Emby with a variety of clients - Chrome, Chromecast, Android TV, Android Phone.  Live TV looks great, but the Recorded TV default aspect ratio is 4:3 instead of 16:9.  I attached the transcode log and a screenshot, not sure if that helps.  Is there a setting I might have wrong, any ideas are appreciated.

hi, as a test, try turning off quicksync and see if that makes a difference in your next recording. thanks.

I ran the test and that addresses the issue. With quicksync on the aspect ratio is 4:3 by default, with it off its 16:9.  Do you think this is something that would be able to be fixed? Quicksync makes a pretty good difference on the cpu, see attached screenshot, with quicksync cpu is approx 50% vs 75% with it off.

By us? I don't think so. It sounds like an issue in the quick sync decoder or encoder. We periodically update ffmpeg so you can always try the beta server to see if it makes a difference, since that has updated to a new version.

Thanks Luke, wasn't sure which component would likely need to fix.  I updated to the beta server, but recorded tv still defaults 4:3.  Oh well, I'll keep an eye on it and report back if anything changes.
