kemby 0 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Team, I have just updated Emby to the most recent version 3.0.5913.0 and now I am unable to play any media. I am getting "there was an error playing the media" while opening recorded shows. For live TV I am getting "There was an error playing the video. Please ensure there is an open tuner available". Please note that the previous versions worked just fine. I have restarted the server (physical box and emby server) multiple times with no success. I have also tried multiple browsers, Android/Windows applications but the end results is always the same. Is there a way to roll back to the previous version? Thanks!
Pais 125 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I think we need a bit more information to help you. Please see How to Report a Problem. Rolling back may or may not be possible depending upon the last version you used and any changes to the database made on your journey to 5913. If you feel that's the best way forward you can access old releases on GitHub: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/releases

tmoyn 0 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Hi, sorry to jump into this thread, but I am having the same issue too. Did this issue get solved for 'kemby'? I installed a new version of Emby over this past weekend. It worked fine yesterday but today every file has the red "Offline" label on it... and then when I try to play a video I get the following... Can someone please help? What information do I need to send you to help? Should I start a new thread? Thanks
ebr 16190 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 If it says it is offline that means the system could not access it on the last library scan. Run a library scan. If they still say offline, then investigate your log to see why the system can no longer see your media.
