Multiple tuner problems

I have 2 hdhomerun primes for a total of 6 tuners.  When i try to play stations they lock up after about 10 seconds.  If i delete a tuner then they don't lock up but if i add it back they do.  It doesn't matter which tuner i delete.

 

I also have media center running (which i am hoping to replace with your dvr solution), It does not lock up with 6 tuners.  I can record all 6 channels with no lockups.

 

Any thoughts?

Hi, it's probably a coincidence and doesn't have anything to do with multiple tuners. Please see how to report a media playback issue and we'll take a look. Thanks.

Ok, I think i have everything you should need.  I have 3 log files and 2 transcoding-temp files.

 

You can see the stuttering on the temp files and eventually about about 30 sec it just stops.

Just curious....is someone looking into this?  Did i post the information you need to diagnose this problem?

I wonder if it's an issue with that specific tuner and not an issue specific to multiple tuners. Perhaps it could be signal loss leading to the stream stopping. For example, I have multiple tuners as part of a test setup and don't see any issues. The multi-tuner support doesn't really do anything special. It's just a matter of picking which tuner to use, then once that's decided, it's the same as a single tuner setup.

That could be true but media center has no problems with both tuners.  On top of that i tested it with each tuner stand alone and had no problems as i stated before.

It could be the same signal drops are happening but it's just recovering better than we are at this point. An automatic re-connection is something we need to add.
