Jack Burton 98 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I can't find a way to have an option of which movie version to play. For example, I have 2 versions of Tombstone. One good quality Blu-Ray, and another low quality version with extra scenes. I checked the naming conventions, and followed this guide So I now have a little 2 in a blue circle on the cover of the movie. Great, I assume this means it worked, but when selecting the movie I can't figure out how to play the Blu-Ray or Extended version.
Jack Burton 98 Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Haha well that explains it. I'm guessing it's just for multiple files of different quality then?

Yes, different movie cuts should be handled as collections at this time. So if you have the theatrical and directors cuts you would build folders for each, probably called 'Movie (YEAR) [Theatrical]' and 'Movie (YEAR) [Director's Cut]'. You would run a library scan and then correct the metadata for the files to reflect the versions, then build a custom boxset containing both.
