rumred85 0 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 It takes about 41 seconds to view a channel after i hit play. Same thing if I move to another channel. i have an hdhomerun prime and i am using the web interface on a local network to view. My media center pc changes channels in about 3 seconds. Is this a known issue?
Luke 42077 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Hi there, welcome. Are you using the built-in live tv functions or did you install a live tv plugin? Keep in mind, the browser video players do not natively support the format of the tv streams. We need to use a process called transcoding to convert the stream on the fly, and this can affect performance. In general I would suggest using the chrome browser for the fastest startup time, if that's important to you.
