Emby in Samsung SmartTV - NOT Function offline

It's not the app, it's the TV itself.

 

The TV checks that it has an internet connection before any smart TV apps are loaded, even i they don't need to use the internet for access.

 

There's not a lot Emby can do about this I'm afraid.

It is not the TV !

emby needs the internet connection , It will not work without it , not work offline , ( if I connect internet then it works )

in fact , I tested Plex and works very well and does not require the internet, works offline !!

Also emby should work offline , but is not so ,

I don't known why......

in fact , I tested Plex and works very well and does not require the internet, works offline !!

Also emby should work offline , but is not so ,

I don't known why......

 

You get a message saying that there is not internet connection, so it is the TV, not the app.

 

Not sure how Plex get around this, but if there is no internet connection, then no Smart apps will work.

It must be the setting emby ,

Also plex has the message but after OK it works the same

Now I look at the link

the problem remains..........

I can only use Plex

(that not from these problems)
