Can no longer seek/skip

I *think* this is a server problem... but since all my dedicated clients are android/androidtv I thought I'd try asking here.  Very recently now it seems that I can play any show fine, but there's no controls to skip forward/back and even watching a few seconds marks it as read.  There's some weird stuff in the logs.  Any ideas?

Usually happens if items do not have media info..... Check in the web client of an item where this occurs at the bottom of the items detail page, does it list video and audio codec info? If not try refreshing the item and rechecking

Thanks!!  I checked the show I was trying to watch and it had no info on the file.  I refreshed it, the info shows up, and seek/skip works again.   

However, it appears that all the info from every file in the library was lost.  Must have happened on the last server upgrade.    

 

Definitely not a client issue then, thanks!

I am having this same problem on emby for android or via chrome, only started occurring after the server upgrade a week ago. my media info has codec info for the items it is occurring all (all i've tested so far).

 

Any other thoughts?
