nagetech 69 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hey everyone! Just want to say I absolutely love using Emby! Thank you for all the awesome work that is done! I have a question, or rather more of a curiosity. The other day I checked and my emby install directory is pushing about 30GB in space. I am just curious to know, is that normal? Is there anything I can do to go in there and clean things up a bit? Thanks again!
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) If you don't change any of the custom paths then yes this is normal. My people folder is 52GB alone. If needed you can distribute Cache, Metadata, and transcoding to custom locations. Edited April 1, 2016 by Happy2Play

A lot of people still run limited space, I for one used to have everything on default and emby gobbled up my C drive SSD. I've since changed paths but it's not obvious and nowhere advices you that emby potentially will use up so much space
