b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Which database file monitors the watched status of media? I need to be able to track what files have been viewed by which users, in so much that I can tell if all my users have watched item B at which point I know that I can then remove it from my collection.
b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 userdata.db Am I missing something? How can I use this data to achieve what I need?
ebr 16184 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Don't try to interpret the DB directly. Use the API.
ebr 16184 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 What I'm saying is the internals of our databases are not necessarily going to be able to be interpreted by you and are subject to change and won't be documented anywhere. Instead, we have a published API that allows safe, consistent access to the data. That is what you should use to get the information you are looking for. 1

Forgive me for being slow but where can I find the API? I have found discussions regarding it. Also do this mean I will have to code up a script to pull and display the data I am after?
b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Well I managed to use the api but it didnt really provide what I am looking for, is there a way to pull viewed status' of all users at once?
ebr 16184 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 You'd need to get the users and then iterate through them.
b0dyr0ck2006 57 Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Is there a reason why this data is encrypted? The API is ok, and I say that loosely. You have to be so gentle with it or it crashes, take your time and wait for it. I want to be able to flow through the data base files smoothly and pull what info from it I need
