Remote Control to Sheild TV

Happy Friday everyone!

 

I mentioned this in the regular thread, but I am still kind of confused. I am attempting to remote control my Emby ATV app on my Nvidia shield tv. I do not want to cast. I have attached the screenshot of the devices I see. The interesting thing is I was able to see my iPad (not in the screenshot) from my phone. I am using a Droid turbo if that matters.

 

I am on the latest beta ATV app and the stable Android client. Am I doing something wrong?

Yep. Android app from my phone attached. Let me know if you want the server logs.

 

Emby theater running on my laptop shows up on my phone as a player option. I also just tested on my iPad and I get the same results.

 

i sent logs from my shield as well.

I think this may somehow be a problem in the mobile app.  I can see my Fire TV from the web client but not the Android mobile app.  My Shield does show up in the mobile app but as a chromecast target.

Yes, it works via the web client actually. Must be an app issue...
