Hi,

I just bought a new AVR (Denon X2200W) as a replacement of Harman Kardon AVR-132 (without HDMI ports). This new receiver supports al kinds of audo stream (DTS-HD / Dolby TrueHD) which the old lacked.

But to my surprise I only got normal Dolby and DTS.. It took some time to figure out what was the probleem it was the GPU (Geforce 9400), that didn't support the new audio stream. So I am in a need for a new GPU which can support at least DTS-HD / Dolby TrueHD. It would nice if DTS;X and Atmos are also supported, but that's a nice to have.

Can anybody recommend a GPU which can support this. ?. I already searched but most GPU specs are based on fps and other game things.

Current setup

Antec Fusion Black
Corsair 450W Powersupply
120GB SSD
GA-E7AUM-DS2H
Integrated Nvidia Geforce 9400
Expansion slots
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (The PCI Express x16 slot supports NVIDIA Hybrid SLI (Note 4) technology and conforms to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
1 x PCI Express x1 slot

2 x PCI slots

If you don't need gaming of any type, just get the cheapest GPU of your chosen Vendor.  They all will have the same decoding and streaming capabilities for playback for the most part.  At least what you're looking for anyways.

Just bought a ASUS GT610 and yes the AVR is showing DTS-HD MA. I am happy.
