dynamic range compression

Does Media Browser 3 have "dynamic range compression" (in VLC) or something similar?

 

I am interested how to keep volume high enough to hear voices/dialogue during movies but low enough to keep from waking up the kids during actions scenes.

 

I am using the TV (panasonic ST50) speakiers only - no receiver.

If VLC has it, you could always use an external player to play things and play the media in VLC.
