Atarian 0 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Love the plugin! I use it on my two openelec boxes with no issues. However, I just sideloaded Kodi on my Apple TV 4, and when the plugin starts up, it immediately gives me this error: Library sync thread has exited! You should restart Kodi now. Please report this on the forum. I searched around for other topics regarding this message, and saw a recent thread where a dev posted an alpha build to try, I tried that one and got the same result. I was just wondering if the addon is incompatible with the Apple TV build of kodi or not. Hopefully my error log will provide some clues: http://xbmclogs.com/pqvqbvvps Thanks for taking a look!
Angelblue05 4132 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) I'm not sure it looks like maybe there's no tag table in your Kodi database. I haven't tried Krypton yet, but it's not really supported is it? @@xnappo Maybe the database structure changed? Anyway, we don't support before release candidate. We support Helix (14.2), Isengard(15.x), Jarvis(16.x). Edited March 28, 2016 by Angelblue05 1
xnappo 1611 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 @@Angelblue05 - A while back I made the lower level changes needed for a nightly Krypton to work - but I didn't change our own check. Not sure if there would be more lower level changes needed now... 1

Same problem here, I guess it's an issue with Kodi 17, I got a "not compatible" error at one point
xnappo 1611 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 As stated many times, we only support Kodi RCs as the database can change up until then. See this post if you want to try to keep up with changes yourself: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/30324-yall-are-killing-it/&do=findComment&comment=291447 You *might* just need to do the change in utils.py if they haven't changed anything since the last time I updated it. We keep that check in there to prevent people from ending up with corrupt databases etc - but I would want to risk it have at it.
