Adding a specific TV Show folder to Emby Library

I have my tv shows and kids shows in separate folders. However there are some shows that are in my folder that my son likes and Im ok with him watching so I want to add just those specific shows to his profile, not my entire tv folder library.

 

 

my main TV Shows folder is  \\qnapnas\TV Shows\

Using that path works fine and all my shows (including The Flash) appear correctly.

 

I added \\qnapnas\TV Shows\The Flash to the library and it did add, it shows the correct cover, but it does actually add anything to his profile, no episodes apprear.

I made sure he is granted access to The Flash Folder too in emby

 

Is there some way to do this correctly?

Hi, at the moment this won't work with the TV content type, although you could set it up as home videos if you really wanted i guess.

Ok thanks, I will do that then. I'm guessing it wouldnt scrape the tv info if it was home videos tho eh..

 

I just thought I suppose the only other way to do it is have 3 main folders: My Tv Shows, Kids TV Shows and shared TV Shows. 

Any plans to implement this into emby later on? Would rather not do it that way.
