MEB 27 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Is this a feature I am overlooking but I don't want my download, screenshot, hangout folders to upload. How can I only select my camera folder? I use import on lightroom and would rather just emby import the folders i want. 1
MEB 27 Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Is this at least going to be a option in the future? I can set up a script to delete the folders as a temp fix if so, if not I will have to find a different folder backup, I was just hoping to use less background processes when emby is already running.
MEB 27 Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 Any answer on this? I really would like to be able to ignore directories on the phone.
Luke 42077 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 It's currently not possible. This request is being monitored for community feedback. Thanks.
Sidiox 0 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Sorry for basically Necro'ing this thread, but yeah I'd very much like to be able to select folders, or just have it only take the DCIM folder by default. Currently taking all images on my phone is somewhat annoying and made me disable the feature.
theeternalmushroom 4 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 +1 for this feature. Tried camera upload today and I ended up with 69 folders from music art and other programs
feerlessleadr 173 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Agreed - I just assumed when I turned on camera upload it would upload just my DCIM folder.
Luke 42077 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 I think this is a good idea for a future update. thanks.
MEB 27 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 Over a year now, is this feature ever going to get some love?
Luke 42077 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 We have new improvements to Camera Upload in beta if you'd like to help test them out: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/79526-android-mobile-3088 Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 @MEB @theeternalmushroom @feerlessleadr This will be in the next update to the android app, and two updates from now in the iOS app. You'll be able to select which folders you want to upload. Thanks.
