New HdHomerun Firmware.

Hi All.

 

Looks like there are some good additions to the HdHomerun

 

 

*Report audio and video codec types in lineup json.
* Report ONID and TSID in lineup json when tuning information is requested.
* Report tuner count in discover json.
* Detect and report if h.264 channels are SD or HD.

It looks like it is out as official. The link is from the dvr forum, but the dvr functionality is only available if you are a subscriber. (which I am) You may want to post there just to make sure .

I have been looking at the lineup.json and HD indicator is being returned as well for mpeg2 if applicable. Even better

 

I am really hoping this can be used to enhance support for all HD models those of us with HDHR3-CC's especially. Having the codecs and an HD flag really limits the need for any probe of the stream.

Is this available for use of your not a subscriber? I have 2 HDHomerun Extend boxes and don't need the DVR as Emby does everything I need. So, can I install it and just ignore the DVR portion?
