It doesn't on my system if I change a setting it changes mine not the intended user Ok I just rechecked that, it is showing the correct userid but it is not changing their settings it is changing mine? Yep, it doesn't appear in beta 3.0.5920.0 or dev 3.0.5929.1552 anymore. @@Luke Why would this be removed when it is the only way for an admin to modify user preferences? And Disable access to user preferences doesn't seem to work either.

It's not better to hide it - disable the option with a message saying why it's disabled, I've just spent more than half an hour trying to work out how to change a users picture. As I don't know the software inside out (so don't know where the option should be) I've spent ages looking in the settings, on the user profile etc, and then after a lot of head scratching and numerous Google searches later I come across this thread. Any idea when the option will be enabled again? As my daughters asked me to update her user profile picture. I presume the profile pictures are stored somewhere, can I just replace her existing picture? Done it, you need to close down Ember server, then navigate to the user profile folders located in the following folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\config\users\ There will be various folders, just find the correct folder by looking at the poster.jpg image then simply change that image. I've no idea on what the requirements are for the image, but it worked for me - I kept the file size small at 173KB Then restart Emby server for the change to take effect. Clicking the three dots on the users profile picture gives me these options, Open, Library access, Parental Control and Delete. After clicking open I can not see any options to change the user profile picture. So if it's been added back how do I change the profile picture, or even add a picture to a new user? Old man can't read and works better with pictures. Is this still possible to change the user profile pic? I don't want to use Emby connect though.
