Hello all,

I'm running up to date windows server (3.0.5882.0) and WMC client (3.0.299).  My problem is that the Last Played section on the Movies home screen doesn't update.

I can play a movie, but it won't show up in the Last Played section.

I also have an unrelated issue where a TV series only plays the first 20 seconds or so of an episode and goes to the next one.  Not sure what is up with that or if I accidentally engaged a "preview" function or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

What "Last Played" section?  Screen shot...?

Here's the screen shot. I've played a bunch of movies recently and it hasn't updated. Also, the most recent movies in there didn't show up right away, this has probably been an issue for a few weeks for me. Thanks!

If you switch to the Chocolate theme is it any different?

If you bring the web client up in that same folder and sort by date played, is it different?

The Web client shows last played movies as I would expect. I'll try changing the theme and will report back.

Also, my other issue where a series only plays the first few seconds then goes to the next episode continuously is only for one series and is only an issue on the emby android app (on Kindle, android, and Amazon firestick. The Web client and WMC work fine. I've tried reinstalling the app, but the behavior persists.

Thanks!

I honestly haven't tested that particular recent list view in a very long time because I don't think very many people use it.

Couple things to check though:

1) Make sure you don't have the option set for making the "Watched list in progress".

2) Are you in Legacy Browsing mode?

Hey ebr,

Sorry for the multi month delay.  I did a fresh install of windows and everything, my whole system was shot.  It looks like everything is working in WMC now just fine.  It must have just been something corrupted on my PC.

I'm never giving up WMC, best DVR ever.

Thanks for keeping Emby running!
