Avast Antivirus gives false positive for plugin downloads

When I install server plugins, Avast Antivirus pops up the following dialog. If I don't approve the download within 15-20 seconds, I have to start the process again as I presume MB Server times out.

I've had the same issue with Media Center Master updates.

Good day,

Yes I seen this as well, so I put the mb3 server location within firewall trusted and that solve the issue (as I recall that since I do not use that firewall anymore).

Thx. In Windows Firewall? Could you please explain how you do it? Feeling nooby here.

Good day,

I meant within the AVAST antivirus settings as exception for a folder for mediabrowser-server location.

As I said, I do not use that AVAST anymore, so I forgot where at the settings that used to be.

Got it. Found it. Settings-Antivirus-Exclusions-URLs.

Thanks. I assume that fixes it and will update on the off chance it does not.
