ballos 1 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hi, I'm new with the emby and I have a little question. Is it possible to configure the server that on the home screen the covers are displayed and not the thumbs ? Not every movie got es thumb so it would look better with the covers of the new movies. Thanks for the answer with best regards ballos 1
Luke 42085 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hi, welcome. Where exactly do you mean, in the resume section?
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 On the Home tab in the web UI, immediately under the My Media section it shows a Resume section with movies that you started but haven't finished. It uses thumb icons for these items, when available, or heavily padded posters when not. It would be nice to use Posters there instead.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Sounds like a "Select View" option like Shows and Movies have. 1
ballos 1 Posted March 31, 2016 Author Posted March 31, 2016 I mean the section with the newest media on the home Screen. If the movie got no "thumb" picture the server use "background" picture. It would be nice if I can change it to the cover of the movie because every movie got a cover but not every got a thumb picture. Or is there a page where I can download a "thumb" picture ?
sh0rty 718 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Sounds like a "Select View" option like Shows and Movies have. I would also welcome such an implementation. Like covers more than thumbs. Perhaps in the user setting below the order setting for homescreen to keep the screen itself clean.

I had this on one my movies, even using metadata manager there was no 'thumb' image what I did was to use an image editor such as Gimp opened the the clearart.png then exported it as landscape.jpg.....1 thumb image created.
