No Dynamic Images for Collections

For some reason I'm getting no dynamic image for collections on the home screen, not even the popcorn (must've sold out  ) I am getting them for movies and tv shows. I have attached a couple of server logs.

This is interesting, thought I would try a refresh on collections via metadata...

Same here on both counts;

 

No dynamic cover for collections and "1901-01-01" is reported as date added.

 

Any ideas?

Is there not a solution to this other than creating an image of my own.

I don't think dynamic pictures are enabled for collections (yet?), but I could be wrong. What are you currently seeing as image for the collections?

It stopped working from 5870, prior to that it was fine....in 5870 it would default to the popcorn image even after deleting it. In 5882 not even the popcorn image.

 

The current image is just a folder, home screen settings are checked for 'Display a collections view to show movie collections'

 

Hm!! In View Styles Enable enhanced presentations for: there is only movies and tvshows, I can't remember if there was an option for collections in previous versions.

you still having this issue? I know it is a minor cosmetic issue but the collections logo just looks out of place alongside the Movies, TV Shows and Picture icons which dynamically update with their contents!

 

As with yourself, it was working here perfectly prior to 5870.

Sorry guys it was removed. The main library view images are no longer user specific because the feedback that we've seen is that you guys just want to set your images once as an admin and have them apply to all users. i could bring back the thumbnail generation but it will inevitably cause some to complain that the thumbnails show content that is not appropriate for certain users.
