Scallica 1 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Aftering installing the latest Chocolate version (3.0.2.21), I am unable to change the view type in a TV Series/Seasons view in MB Classic. The view is currently set to Cover Flow, and prior to installing the latest update, I was able to see the covers for each season. Now, on the left-hand side, there is a list showing the seasons and episodes. I tried to change the view from Cover Flow, to List, Poster, Thumb, and Strip and nothing happens. 1
quindarious 6 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I have the same issue. It also shows "0 episodes" for each season and does not allow me to play anything. Â If I switch back to the default theme, the episodes immediately appear.
WWWestern 94 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 @ebr Because are many complains, I suggest:  1. Move the "Use Custom View for Series" option to "List Options" group and invert the logic: rename it to "Use Classic View for Series", default is unchecked; 2. Introcuce dependency from state of  the "List" option in the conext menu: if List enabled, then consider state of the "Use Classic View for Series", else - no.  Thanks.
ebr 16169 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 No, I want to make this view the default to provide better functionality within the theme. Â The problem is, I pushed this as a dev build knowing it was brand new and would have issues. Â What I didn't realize was that MBC currently ignores the update level on plug-ins (this will be fixed in the next MBC). Â So, for those of you with issues right now, either turn off the new special view (under Chocolate View Options) or re-install the release version of Chocolate and don't update it.
ebr 16169 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I went ahead and removed the dev version so that you guys can re-install and get the previous beta and it won't nag you about updating. Â I'll have to wait until the MBC problem is fixed before putting up any more dev versions of the plug-in.
WWWestern 94 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 No, I want to make this view the default to provide better functionality within the theme. Here is observed a little misexplanation until/misunderstanding. ) I'm sorry if I messed up something with English syntax. I suggested in 1. as the standard view - the new (now called Custom), will hidden enabled by default, but as an alternative - the old (suggested to be called Classic), will disabled by default.
WWWestern 94 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 The "zero episodes" bug is "cured" (as work around) by cleaning ImageCache folder. Amazing but true.
