NateC2k 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Hey guys I am new to Emby and switched from Plex... Anyway I love the program, but one little issue I am having is the Emby doesn't seem to be downloading TV show information as good as Plex...like a lot of my shows don't download the art and the seasons show up like s4e1 and stuff instead of just a nice layout of Season 1 Season 2 and the episodes labeled properly.
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Hi, there, welcome. Can you give a specific example of what your folders and files look like? thanks.
NateC2k 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 On my Plex server those gets filled out...is there another metadata server to download from? I am sorry I am new to this stuff, so I am not too sure how it works.
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Thanks, I'd like to see the actual files and folders though, not what you're seeing in Emby. Thanks.
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Ok, thanks. But from the above screen it looks like Seinfeld worked, is that correct? What about one that didn't work?
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 what's the name of the parent folder that the seasons live in?
NateC2k 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 F:\TV Shows 1\The.Wonder.Years\The.Wonder.Years.S05.PDTV.x264-JCH The whole folder structure.
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Thanks. I've made some improvements for the next release. you can try them on the dev branch tomorrow if you like. you'll need to do a manual refresh of the wonder years series folder.
NateC2k 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 Thank you...I really really appreciate it!
Luke 42083 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 If the other series are named similarly then they will probably be resolved too. If you have others that are different and also not working, then if you get me the same type of examples i can look at them too. Thanks.
