BigGoose62 71 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I have quite a few movies that I ripped as .vob files. These are stored as: E:\Movies\Title\example\example.vob But in MB3, this example does not appear as a movie. While the title shows up in the edit list view, it appears as a folder in the list (with the little expand/collapse arrow next to the title). If you click on the arrow, it simply disappears. There is also no Source Type section. The path that is displayed by MBT is: E:\Movies\Title\example I'm curious if I need to change the file structure, if this is a known issue, if .vobs are not supported, or if I am encountering something unheard of. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Latchmor 584 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Hi, have you had a look here: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/674-media-files-folders-structure/ All mine are like below and MBS picks them up, F:\Films\Alien (1979)\video_ts\vob1.vob, vob2.vob etc (all vobs inside a VIDEO_TS folder) Cheers
BigGoose62 71 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 That you for your response. Your advice does allow the movie to appear as it should, but creates a new problem. When I press the play button from inside MBT, I get a popup that says "There was an error processing your request." And the video cannot play. Any ideas?
Luke 42077 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 It's alpha software so it's probably no fault of your own. Future releases will improve it.
BigGoose62 71 Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 OK, thanks for the reply. That's all I need to know. Loving everything else about MBT though
