yakirp88dell 1 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Hi there, I am using the server on Windows and I want to know if there's an option to refres the metadata automatically or manually so if the tv show episode name is updating it will refresh and get the new name. The problem is because I am using Hebrew metadata and when new chapter arrives it has only English name and plot and few days later it get the content in Hebrew. But the content on the server is already in English so it doesn't updates. Is there way fixing it? Manually or better automatically scheduled Thanks in advance
Luke 42079 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Hi, welcome. Right now it would have to be a manual process.
yakirp88dell 1 Posted March 12, 2016 Author Posted March 12, 2016 Hi, welcome. Right now it would have to be a manual process. By saying right now you mean that you plan to add schedule task for that? And anyway how can I do it manually? Thanks a lot
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 You can Refresh metadata from item level, season level, series level, and library level. Personally a scheduled task would to much stress on provider networks.

Because I think it didn't do anything

You can look at the log after you hit refresh and see what is or has been refreshed. 1
JERRY1 17 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I've been doing full refreshes and nothing coming up Log2242.txt
Luke 42079 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I've been doing full refreshes and nothing coming up Hi, welcome. Before we look at the logs, can you please describe in your own words what you're trying to do, what you're expecting to happen, and what is actually happening? Thanks.
JERRY1 17 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 This issue only affecting some tv shows ripped from dvds, pic 1 tv show charmed episodes list no data. Pic 2 hawaii five o, episodes list and data, that's all i'm trying to do see the episodes metadata.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) @@Luke, is there something wrong in the config, there is nothing listed in "MetadataFetcherOrder"? Or is this do to old install MediaBrowser-Server vs Emby-Server? I know mine show all the fetchers. Also JERRY1's log never references TVDB (TVDBEpisodeProvider). "ItemType":"Episode","ImageOptions":[{"Type":"Backdrop","Limit":3,"MinWidth":1280}],"DisabledMetadataSavers":["Emby Xml"],"LocalMetadataReaderOrder":[],"DisabledMetadataFetchers":["The Open Movie Database","TheMovieDb"],"MetadataFetcherOrder":[],"DisabledImageFetchers":[],"ImageFetcherOrder":[]} Edited April 6, 2016 by Happy2Play
JERRY1 17 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) Anyone have ideas why metadata not loading for some shows ? Movies have no problem loading metadata, will checkout tv folder again something must have change. Edited April 11, 2016 by JERRY1
JERRY1 17 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 C:\Users\Alden\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\root\default\TV SHOWS Does this have to do with why no metadata for some tv shows..were looking at what HAPPY2PLAY said.
JERRY1 17 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Thank you , HAPPY2PLAY.because of what you wrote i took a closer look at the sever. about the tvbdb and sure it was not there. Must have came out somehow during server upgrade. Still it don't explain why only some were effected. All is well on this one,
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Have you verified your service settings for "Episodes"? Metadata-Services-Customize for media type - Episodes Was just going to have you verify setting. Glad you figured it out.
