EMBY OA 0 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Hi! First of all. Apologize for my poor English. Hope it's nonetheless understandable. When I try to connect to my server with the command "http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/login.html", I see my account but nothing happen when I select it. I have access to my media Library with the emby logo button but not to the server manager. I tried to update the emby server to 3.58.82. It always failed with the message "Could not delete previous backup directory. System.IO.IOException. The register is not empty." Thanks for your help. Oliver
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Shut down Emby server and update from website. Sounds like the server process is not shutting down fast enough to allow the auto update function to work.
EMBY OA 0 Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Thank you. How can I shut down properly the server. No access to the emby manager dash. So Is it OK to shut down it in the Win7 services manager console ?
