Does emby transcode FLAC on Chromecast?

Hi!

 

I've tried playing some of my FLAC-files from Emby-server to chromecast, and it sound pretty lame. Sounds pretty close to 128kbps MP3: Very flat.

 

Does it transcode to a lossy format when casting FLAC to Chromecast? Chromecast supports FLAC, Plex does this right. So would be strange if Emby didn't.

 

Eventually: Is there any settings to control this?

No, we don't transcode flac to chromecast, we direct play it.
