Folder Navigation How?

I have made everything and I can't navigate by my folder structure, just click on "Folders" in Music main menu it show the first directory level and when click on any folder don't show all subfolder level.

 

How can I get this? I thought that folder navigation (it's the way i like to access to my music) was a simple issue.

I have Version 3.0.5882.0

Another issue, I shutdown the server and restarted but the server does not  show scanned my library

 

Has the server to scan all my library AGAIN?

Library scans only happen every 12 hours, unless you add additional trigger.

 

As for folder view, can you provide an example to the structure you are expecting.

 

Currently Artist-Album-track functions properly but I suspect that is not the structure of your library.

Can you provide and example?  What is the disk folder view you are expecting?

 

I have mine Artist-Album-Track, so folder view displays exactly that order

 

x:\Music

      Artist

        Album

          Tracks

That's exactly what I want but in my case Emby don't show the albums of the second level (in your example : Blake Sheldon All About tonight , Blake Sheldon Based on a True Story,.......)

 

I am talking about folder navigation like window explorer, drill down and back on the tree structure

 

Do you have the albums stored in a individual subfolders?

 

I have the this folder structure : 

 

my Hard Disk:\MyMusic\Artist1\Album1

my Hard Disk:\MyMusic\Artist1\Album2

 

inside Album1 and Album2 are the songs, it looks like your structure I don't understand what is going on

I have somewhat the same problem. I have subfolders with genre names. Some of them are displayed as folders while others are not.

 

Structure:

/music/

  blues/

    artist1/

      album/

    artist2/

  .

  .

  jazz/

    artist10/

  ...

 

Folder 'blues' is seen as a special folder and no subfolders are displayed after selecting it.

Folder 'jazz' is seen as a normal folder and selecting it will show the artists folders.

 

Rescanning the database hasn't helped.

 

Any thoughts?

we'd need to see screenshots of the folders + screenshots of what you're seeing in the interface.
