MndWrp 101 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 hello.. is there a correct naming for combing these two features without having to double the srt files ? example this works .. movie (year) - 720p movie (year) - 720p.eng.srt movie (year) - 1080p movie (year) - 1080p.eng.srt this doesn't movie (year) - 720p movie (year) - 1080p movie (year).eng.srt srt files are quite light, so it's not as much for the space that i ask, more about having only one file to edit when i need to. thanks !
Luke 42083 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 actually at the moment, no. i suppose that should be looked into, but it's tricky because the versions aren't guaranteed to be timed exactly the same.
MndWrp 101 Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 They are timed right since they are all from the same source... but i see your point. Maybe it's a case that if hay are not timed right then, have two srt files...

Maybe it's a case that if hay are not timed right then, have two srt files... I don't think there is any way for us to know whether they are exactly the same. But, we might be able to look for the specific version and, if not there, fall back to the generic one.
MndWrp 101 Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 That is pretty mush what I tried to say but not as clearly, I guess... Having a generic srt that would be related to all versions of the movie, and if the user has timing issues, have an srt for each.
