It works on my laptop but on my Samsung Smart TV as well as my Amazon Fire Stick it does not work. When I enter the server in manually.Emby freezes as well.

I am able to login and go in on my laptop but not my FireTV.plenty of other users have made this very same post about this happening with Emby as well.

This is not my server. I was invited. I am able to login and go in on my laptop but not my FireTV.plenty of other users have made this very same post about this happening with Emby as well.
TheRockwell 0 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Should've scanned the topics more because i see a lot of other users are having the same Fire TV issue as the picture in the OP post. Safe to say, the problem is in-house with Emby and the latest FireTV build just doesn't want to play nice. Ebr, is the beta program you've mentioned in similar threads open? Or will Emby be doing some in-house upgrades to the FireTV app anytime soon?

It is some sort of failure to connect to the defined user on the remote server that the app is not handling well. Are you able to get in using the manual entry method?

When you get it, if it still exhibits the same problem, there should be a "Send Logs" button on that user selection screen you are ending up at. Please press that and send me a log and then maybe I can see what situation is not being handled properly. Thanks very much.

Nope, it's telling me that my login credentials are invalid, when i know they're accurately entered. How does one get the beta you mentioned above?

You would need to PM me the email address on the Amazon account for the device - but first, be sure you haven't opted out of Amazon Marketing communications.
