Upcoming TV dates differ for user vs admin

Emby Server 5897.0

 

I was viewing the general user UI in both the Android client as well as the WebUI. In both instances the TV>Upcoming screen lists all shows a day behind from when they actually air. I then went to the WebUI for the Emby Server admin and the same screen shows the correct date for the same episodes.

Are you referring to user logins and admin logins?

 

I can't reproduce user vs admin difference in web client.

 

This would be an Android client issue not a server issue, since the web client displays properly.

we store all dates in utc and then clients display them in their local time zone, so this is expected behavior if the time zones are different on two devices. Now as it turns out, there might be some cases where we probably shouldn't be doing this, but as of today, that's what it does.
