I have an HDHomeRun which is also set in NextPVR for recording and guide.

The problem is that when playing from NextPVR's tuner emby always transcode the stream and that delays playback quite a lot.

When playing from HDHomeRun's "native" tuner, emby direct plays the stream and playback starts very quickly.

NextPVR standalone app also direct plays the stream.

Is there some setting I am missing? or something I can do to force direct-playing for NextPVR's tuners?

Attached the server's and ET's logs

This limitation makes me keep both tuners one for playback and the other for recording and guide.

See attached screenshot from ET's Guide.

Channels with  (manually added) images are those from native tuners and the "blank" ones right below are the same channels with guide from NextPVR's tuners. This is actually a workaround to take advantage of both direct playing and guide.

Wouldn't be a good idea if we could merge channels by name and choose which tuner will be used for each of the three services (playback, guide, recording)?

BTW there is a bug on ET's Guide. Channels with no image, as you can see, are displayed blank, with no text instead. This happens on ET's guide only.

Thanks
