Video Bookmarks: How to add m3u playlist from local drive or website?

This can be done in IPTV Simple Client in Kodi.

But when I right click on Video Bookmarks on Emby Server, I can see menus for adding Collection or Playlists.

Clicking on Playlist, I can enter a name; then I expect a window for typing in a location, local or remote.

But all I get is a rotating circle ... What am I doing wrong?

Never mind ! Problem solved for now ...

This too was an admin/non issue. I logged into the server as admin, clicked on Video Bookmarks to Open and was able to input an http link that did not play (http://kodilive.eu/tv with logos at http://kodilive.eu/logo.) And t I don't see how to edit/ delete it

Anyway will work on it. Need to learn a lot.

The plugin has configuration that lets you add and remove the video links.

Yes, found out how to delete the bookmark :)

But still working on editing the link address etc.

Looks like Emby is a better, simpler deal than bloated Kodi.

Just wish there were a PDF Guide.

We do have a wiki:

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki

But remember most of the plugins are built by community members. We can't guarantee they're going to be as user friendly as the core elements or that they'll have documentation.

Yes, I have read the wiki. At least you guys are helpful anyway.

And yes you are right :( Most problems would be plugins whose Guides you cannot publish !

Aside: Can you give me a test link for Video Bookmarks, so I can check whether I can stream it into a remote browser?

(The ITV plugin I installed doesn't seem to have working TV links, or maybe just not working on my machine. Have been streaming in Kodi, though.)

Also, re: Video Bookmarks input, what is the diff between File and http format? What if you have an Internet link to

a (m3u?) file? Any plugins from your Emby library I can use to stream some IPTV channels?

file means a path to a file on your computer or network.

http means a url to something on the internet
