nicheplayer 8 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Hello! I'm running the latest version of the stable emby addon on Jarvis and am trying to set up my movies library. Here's my issue: My emby server is running on my seedbox, so my Movies menu item is reading the content of my Movies directory on my remote server. That works great. But my Kodi install is on my Fire TV here locally, and I have a NAS on my local network that has a Movies directory with content I'd like to add to my emby Movies menu. Is this a path substitution thing, and if so, how do I format my path in emby server to point to my local nfs share with the movies on it? Thanks a lot for your help! I appreciate it.
xnappo 1611 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Hmm. Can the seedbox see the local network drive somehow?
nicheplayer 8 Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 Hmm. Can the seedbox see the local network drive somehow? Dunno. I guess I'd have to open a port here locally and then give emby server my IP that way. Suppose it's worth a shot.
xnappo 1611 Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Yep, it is either that, or switch to the other way 'round (run the server locally with access to the seedbox).
