Bug in Theater if you buy premium

Hi together,

 

I bought premium for 1 month. This month was over yesterday.

Today I installed emby Theater to watch a movie from remote and enterey the ip manually. Everything worked fine so far. 

Tried to start movie, warning that im not premium. I bought emby for Lifetime so i can watch more then 1 minute. 

I entered the Pin into the server, restarted the server and everything in webpanel works fine, till now. 

In Theater the warning didnt disappear. But i can read and used emby connect (entering the pin and my account). After i entered the PIN the form disappears and I thoug everything is fine. 

But if i want to watch a movie, the warning is still there. 

 

I though, that i maybe have to reinstall the app (for deleting the server) so i can authenticate with PIN only.

After reinstall (I checked all Options while uninstalling) the server AND the warning are still there.

 

So i cant watch any movies and thinkin about taking my money back.

I cant even understand why i need to use this connect shit and cant connect manually.

 

If you decide to do that limitation please buy a good coder, who can handle this. Its very frustating to read about the cool design, but the main functions are not working.

I will wait 7 days for a solution and than i will take back my money if the bug isnt solved.

Were you on the same LAN as your server?  You need to be on the same LAN at least once for the Premire subsctiption to sync with a device.  This is across the board on all of their apps.

No because I'm not at home. If you are right, the description in the warning is wrong.

It says you need the be in the same LAN OR you need to login with emby connect shit.

Hi, if your Emby Premiere payment email matches your Emby Connect email address, then signing in with Emby Connect will resolve this. I apologize for the confusion and we are working on ways of making this more straight-forward.

Exact same problem here and I can't find how to enter my new Emby connect account associated to my Premiere subscription in the Windows app.

just log out and go through the startup process again.

If I sign out, the app then asks for the server credentials, not the emby connect login. So actually what I had to do is go to "Select server" and click on Emby Connect. I can now use my new account associated to my Premiere subscription.

That is important to know! I used a different Mail because i dont trust board-software. Pls find another way to authentificate or at least WRITE! the what you told in your post!
