dejavux2 47 Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 (edited) I have folder shortcuts for the kids. The above screen-print is of the "Kid's TV" folder. Whenever I add a show that is just for kids, it goes directly into the "Kid's TV" folder. When I add something that is for everyone, or adults, it goes into my "TV Shows" folder. Anything in the "TV Shows" folder that is also available for the kids, a URL shortcut is added. It shows up for them as if they exist along with the other shows...they can't tell the difference. The kids only see the "Kid's TV" entry point, and not the "TV Shows" entry point. This way, only one copy of the show needs to exist. I also use this method with "Movies" and "Kid's Movies". Pretty soon, I won't be calling them kids anymore..... Edited March 7, 2016 by dejavux2

Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 They aren't UNC paths. They are shortcuts. Try using junction symlinks instead of shortcut files.
