Cant Add Movies

I have 2 Media Folders 

M:\Media\TV

M:\Media\Movies 

 

My tv folder works without a hitch but emby is not recognizing the media in the Movies folder. Just did a clean install of Windows Server 2008 and Emby as of an hour ago from this post.

Looks like there is an issue with the path.  Your getting the same error on some of your TV also.  Haven't seen this before but have you verified permission.

I haven't seen that either. I'm going to add more logging. Can you please download the windows beta from the website? Later tonight I'll post another beta. Tomorrow or sometime this week please provide a log from that. Thanks.

So apparently it was corrupted meta data that was preventing it from working. I removed all the meta data have emby download it and it seems to be working so far.

How did you determine that? i ask because the methods that were failing are not reading metadata, they're just getting lists of files in a folder. i suppose corrupted files could cause any number of random side effects though.

I dragged all the media files to a separate folder.  And linked that folder and it started to work again.
