Default case - (Auto Organize, etc)

For Linux systems it would be extremely useful if we could set the default case for newly created files.

 

Example: all my files are lower case and when emby organizes new versions of these files. It can't overwrite them as the "new" versions are technically a new file as it had a "different" name.

 

 

In the past I've over come this/ Worked around it by forcing all emby connections thru samba and configuing it to have the default case of "lower".

thanks we'll handle separate casing when looking for file existence

it would also be useful if we could set the case of any new file as well (aka UCase, LCase or StrConv).
