HaraldBluetooth 21 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I would prefer, that items are listed as offline and never removed from library. But lately movies from offline disks have been removed automatically. Next time these disks are online again, the movies are imported again. It is a little pain, when I try to sort the movies in "Date Added" order, when I manage (real) new movies. Is there a setting to avoid, that items are removed? (Emby server version 3.0.5871.0). When you to this add, that Edit Images has been removed from Metadata Manager, and therefore the only way to see if covers and fanart and more has been imported correctly, is to search for the movie name. When you have a big movie collection on 13 hardisks to manage, it's troublesome..... Edited February 26, 2016 by HaraldBluetooth
Luke 42085 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Hi, yes, that's the intention. I think the feature just got lost somewhere along the way. We'll have to review it.
denethor 90 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I have a scheduled shutdown/startup for my synology NAS (shutdowns between 01:00am-07:00am) I think Emby should implement to same solution as Plex did. Removing the disks/files does not have any effect unless you "Empty trash" in your Plex Library. Support us to fight with global warming.

HaraldBluetooth 21 Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 Hi, yes, that's the intention. I think the feature just got lost somewhere along the way. We'll have to review it. Thanks for your answer Luke, so this feature will appear again in the future. In the meanwhile I will go in manuel mode and disable real-time monitoring and have removed the sceduled Scan Media Library / Clean Database to be shure, that nothing is removed and all my disks are online, when I run the manuel Scan Media Library job.
Luke 42085 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Haven't looked at it yet but you can handle it in the meantime by adjusting the schedule of the library scan to only run when the media is online.
